This policy explains what information Grime Guardians (operated by RobGen LLC, "we," "us") collects when you visit grimeguardians.com, book a cleaning, or contact us — and what we do with it. Plain English, no legal maze.
1. What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email, service address, and anything you tell us about your home or facility when you book an assessment or cleaning, call, text, or fill out a form.
- Booking and service records: appointments, quotes, invoices, payments, and the before-and-after photos we take to document our work at your property.
- Website analytics: like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools to understand how visitors use our pages — including pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, and device type. Our analytics tools (Google Analytics and PostHog) may also record how visitors interact with a page, such as scrolling and tapping, to help us fix confusing parts of the site. We don't use these recordings to capture anything you type into booking forms beyond what you submit to us anyway.
- Advertising data: if we run ads (for example on Facebook or Instagram), an advertising pixel may collect standard web-visit data so we can measure whether our ads work.
2. How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, and deliver your cleaning services — including appointment texts and emails.
- To send quotes, invoices, and receipts.
- To follow up about your service, ask for feedback, or let you know about offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- To improve our website, services, and advertising.
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your booking (confirmations, reminders, arrival updates) and occasionally about offers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. We do not sell your phone number, and your opt-in is never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. Day to day, we share it only with the service providers that run our business — with one legal exception at the end of this list:
- Scheduling & messaging: our CRM and booking platform (LeadConnector/HighLevel) processes bookings, texts, and emails on our behalf.
- Payments & invoicing: invoices and payments are processed through Intuit QuickBooks and our payment providers.
- Analytics & advertising: Google Analytics, PostHog, and (when we advertise) ad platforms like Meta receive standard web-visit data.
- The legal exception: we may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our team, or our customers.
5. Photos of our work
We photograph our work to document quality for you. Before any photo of your property is used in our marketing, we make sure it contains no personal details that identify you or your address. If you'd rather your photos never be used in marketing, just tell us — that's always fine.
6. How long we keep it
We keep customer records for as long as you're a customer plus the period required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained per our analytics providers' standard schedules.
7. Your choices
- Marketing: unsubscribe links in every marketing email; reply STOP to any text.
- Cookies: your browser can block or delete cookies; the site still works.
- Access or deletion: want a copy of the information we hold about you, or want it deleted? Contact us using the details below and we'll take care of it within 30 days, except records we're legally required to keep.
8. Children
Our services and website are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes will be posted here before they take effect.
